Well, that was unhelpful
Oct. 20th, 2005 09:14 amI just got back from the hospital. Today was the follow-up appointment with the ENT after a CT scan of my sinuses earlier this week. The idea was that he would tell me what's wrong and what could be done about it.
It was a nice theory, at least. He said the scan came out normal, and while he could certainly correct the airway problem (one side of my nose is pretty well blocked off), it probably wouldn't help. In other words, he doesn't know what the problem is and he can't help me. I have to go back to my GP, maybe an allergist, maybe a neurologist.
I asked him if there was anything I could do in the meantime to make it hurt a little less. I'm tired of being in pain every waking minute of every day.
"Mmmmm, I don't think so."
Great.
Back to square one, I guess.
