House update: walls textured, browncoat started

willowisp and I went by our house this afternoon. Work continues at a fair pace. They've applied the texture to the walls and ceilings, sandblasted the exposed woodwork, and begun to apply the browncoat (the first layer of stucco) to the gate and courtyard out front. Also, there are several doors sitting in the study, probably waiting to be painted.

Word has it that this week will see the first coat of paint on the walls, the clearcoat on our woodwork, and with luck the first of the cabinets and tile. As usual, I reserve judgement until I actually see it.
